Although I decided to self-publish DECEPTION back in 2016, I’m happy to see that even after three years my readers are still loving it!
A ‘verified purchase’ 5 star review on Amazon.co.uk
A short and sweet review from Georgie. Chuffed to see that she enjoyed the ride!
“Through the stark and leafless trees, I see her.
I remember the first day I saw her; an instant attraction. I think she’s beautiful. She has such pensive blue eyes; they remind me of a blue sky right before the sun descends. Every time I see her I want to talk to her, I want to get to know her, and I want to be her friend.
She usually completes the lower woodland walk in six minutes and forty-two seconds; she misses the deeper woodlands and goes home, I believe.
I walk down the road at the same speed as her. She reaches the crossroads at the bottom of the road, looks both ways, and then jogs across into the garden of a house. I stop walking and concentrate on which house is hers.
I can’t stare too long but I am intrigued already, I will come back.”
A psychological thriller that will not let you look at passing dog walkers the same.

I’m very happy to say that after a brilliant 4.5 star review from Book Junkie Reviews, another review has appeared for Deception from a happy reader on Amazon.com (below).
Des O’B kindly read and reviewed Deception, giving it a 4 star rating, with the comment, ‘An interesting look at the depths of human nature, keeps you guessing till the last, with a satisfying ending.’
You can get your hands on Deception on Amazon, B&N and Smashwords.
I am very happy with my two latest reviews for my third novel and second book of the Endurance Series Endurance: Apocalypse!
Below are the two reviews, I have omitted parts of the reviews (potential spoilers!) BUT if you want to check out the full reviews you can one is from amazon.co.uk and the other at: http://therebelliouspoet.blogspot.co.uk/2015/01/endurance-delivers-once-again.html?spref=tw
“As a fan of the first book, I can safely say that this sequel lived up to all expectations. It did everything that we have come to love and expect from an Endurance novel (and a T.J Blake novel for that matter). Particularly at the end, there are some really huge twists and turns, and reveals that provide genuine surprises to those of us who can normally predict an ending. For example, with no spoilers, but finding out the identity of some the ‘elites’ provide us with such glee and shock for those who did get invested with the character.”
“Endurance: Apocalypse is action packed from start to finish, picking up exactly where the last novel ended. I won’t kid you: this is a bloody book, but its not without purpose. Miller’s war is devastating London and, as the body count continues to rise, the more power he gains.”

I was glad to see a new rating and review for my novel The Author on Amazon (Kindle Edition).
‘ The book introduces you to its protagonist, Ryan Milligan, an author whose wife and children disappeared four years previously. He moves to a new house, soon feeling that something is not right. There are weird neighbours, strange dreams, women are murdered in the neighbourhood. I will not tell you more about the story than shown in the Amazon plot description. This would spoil the fun of reading this book yourself.
With The Author, T. J. Blake has created a horror story that requires your concentration. The story provides you with the present, excerpts from the author’s ‘Killing For Your Love’, and Ryan’s dreams and/or nightmares – not necessarily in that order. It is easy to distinguish the book excerpts, harder to separate nightmare from reality. I couldn’t help considering if Ryan had lost his marbles. The Author is not an easy read, comprises interesting turns, the brutality towards the end is a little exaggerated. T. J. Blake seems to be an author with real potential.
3.4 stars ‘
