Google Translate

I’m sure you have all used Google Translate to translate something whether it’s homework or to send a crude message to someone else in a different language on Facebook, Twitter or E-mail…
Having it as an app on your iPhone is brilliant. Get it if you don’t have it, you can have some great entertainment.

If you don’t know what Google translate is then… you ARE missing out!!  I will try and explain it. What it is, is a feature on Google that allows you to translate from English to another language, it has a voice recognition which means that the voice can say what it translates onto, so you’ll need your sound switched on when you’re playing around it.

So, play around with it and get used to it and then have a go at the game I do. What you do is type something in and translate it from English to English (or whatever language you speak) and the voice will speak it in English with a very ‘posh’ accent. I’ve done this many times and every time me and others have had a good laugh. You can do this by typing out funny or rude words or sentences. So give it a go.

Good thing is that you can do this with any one really. I’ve done it at school, people at work and even my family with different ages and everyone finds it funny.

Have a go on your phone on the browser or an app or on your computer at http://translate.google.co.uk/

Coco says Woof Woof, Which translates into….

Coco says Woof Woof, meaning buy it.

Coco told me to tell you WOOF WOOF… Which translates into.
‘Buy this book. It’s truly amazing. It will keep you guessing through out. I’m reading it and although I’m a slow reader cause I’m a dog, it’s such a good story, I would give all my bones to have it!’

So there you go. Coco Blake has spoken, this pic is proof that she is reading it. So go on, go and buy a copy 🙂

Memories

So my parents are sorting out the house, you know, the usual thing of getting rid of your unwanted and unloved stuff.
They came across my old English books at school. It’s now I realise how set up and cheesy school is. Glad to see that my spelling and Creative Writing has improved, significantly. But, at the age of 9/10 I don’t think that, for one of my writing tasks, I would write for the proposed question ‘How do I learn best?’ My instinct reply would be ‘when I drink lots of water’, ‘when my brain is swiched (that’s how it’s spelt) on’ and ‘when I do not cheet (spelling again).’

Another task was to write Similes, I decided to write similes about my brother. The highlight of this task was my creativity, which showed my stupidity at the same time. E.g. ‘My brother is as stupid as a computer.’ The teacher even questioned it, ‘are computers stupid?’. Still got my house point though!!

You’ve got to love looking at your work from school.

Have you got any funny stories of your school days?

#mycopyofendurance

The latest craze of #mycopyofendurance is going okay at the moment… But I think there are some shy people out there. It would be brilliant for this to take off and lots of people to be doing this. It’s simple. 1.Buy my book Endurance 2. Take a picture of yourself holding it, paperback or eBook or both! 3.upload to the Endurance Facebook or Twitter page or upload it onto Instagram   and hash tag #mycopyofendurance. So come on. If you’re reading this, join in! And spread the word.
